I have made a lot of mistakes I am not proud of, but one thing I have promised is never to wallow in the sea of regrets.
I think you should do the same.
Many of us accept the torment of guilt as a form of punishment. You dine, sleep, wake, work and live in guilt.
Is that how you want to live the next 40, 50, 60, or 100 years of your life?
I have tasted guilt…and I can tell you it is a wicked taskmaster!
Your mistakes are grievous, I agree! But they are not graver than the sacrifice of Jesus. If you feel condemned, then it’s not God.
Your sorrow should lead to repentance not self condemnation. Don’t allow your guilt to be bigger than your mistakes!
