Kingdom advancement is a term that seems secluded for a particular group of individuals – those behind the pulpits. But in its real sense, it cuts across and beyond what we know it to be. It is a mandate for every true believer who seeks to be a player in actualizing the prayer of Jesus in Matt. 6, “thy kingdom come”, and how one can contribute to this mandate isn’t necessarily by being the one holding the microphone.
Your God-given skills are ways with which to serve.
In the book of Exodus 36, we see two young men Bezalel and Oholiab who were skilled and thus, were very instrumental to God’s kingdom advancement plan at that time. It is safe to say, without these two and other skilled men there present, and willing to serve with their skills, Moses could only do little or nothing in that regard despite being the Man called of God.
God is in demand of your skills as much as He is in demand of the Man behind the pulpit, and the greatest honor that can be bestowed upon any and every man is to be a “co-laborer” with the Christ in actualizing the mandate of kingdom advancement. The church is on the move, be a part of the move.
