I once worked in an organization, the office didn’t have a cleaner so I doubled as their “cleaner”. I did that almost everyday, as long as it was my shift.
Sometime later I met one of the then colleagues, and he told me, “Since when you left that office has not been cleaned (An obvious exaggeration).
But I was happy. Happy not because they don’t yet have someone to take over the role, but because at least I left a good memory, something I’d always be remembered for.
Why am I sharing this? That we should make it an ambition to leave a good legacy no matter where we find ourselves.
It doesn’t have to be something big, but it should be worth something.
Limit spreading a negative impression about yourself. It is not being yourself, it is ruining yourself.
