The popular story of Esau and Jacob in the bible is one that never ceases to amaze me each time I study.
It beats my imagination why on Earth Esau will trade a whole birthright for a plate of food?
Is that how much value he places on his birthright?
Atleast a plate of food for his next hunt wouldn’t have been a terrible bargain.
Besides, waiting a little longer wouldn’t have killed Esau either, but Esau thought otherwise.
Impatience can cost you your birthright!
Your greatest mistakes are made when you’re impatient.
The most hurried and impatient individuals usually end up with the worst deals.
Be decisive, but never let anyone rush you unnecessarily into making critical decisions, because you are most vulnerable at such state.
Impatience reduces your worth. The more impatient you get, the lower the price tag you place on yourself.
Learn to delay gratification, because some things must wait now, so that our destinies can be secured.
Don’t sell your birthright for anything, because in the end you will realize it wasn’t worth it.
Not for pleasure, Pizza, shawarma or even money.
Know your worth and don’t sell yourself short!
