I was seeking direction to a place I wanted going when I met two guys.

I stopped to ask them when they suddenly began making some sign languages, trying to let me know they were deaf and dumb, but understood I was seeking direction.

Ahhh..I immediately understood and told them thank you and began leaving.

Then they made another sign to me telling me to ask the next person that was approaching us.

I went up to the person only for me to turn and see them still standing waiting to be sure I got the place.

I kept on turning to see if they were standing, they were! All the time.

Ahhhh.

Until they made sure I got the direction they didn’t turn and leave.

I saw pure and genuine compassion in their eyes.

Nothing moved me last week like this singular act.

I kept on thinking, did they have to wait? They don’t even know me from Adam.

Honestly I don’t know why I am sharing this…but this is it…

Whatever the world stole from you is not a license not to show genuine kindness.
