Some of us want to grow, but at the same time are obsessed about getting everyone to like us.

But it seldom works that way, because the pathway to growth will demand alot from you.

In the journey of life, it’s never about the number of likes, shares and comments you get. Life isn’t Facebook!

But its about being diligent and consistent in doing the things that matter.

Don’t let the desire to look spotless and without blemish before men ruin you the chance of becoming who you need to be.

You must learn to let go, your former self inclusive, because you can’t cling on to who you were and still expect to become who you need to be.

When Jesus called his disciples, they immediately left all that they were doing. C’mon those guys had lives, professions and even families.

But they had to let all of that go to pursue a higher calling.

What are you trading for the new version of you that needs to be birthed?

Because it will surely cost you something. Infact, sometimes it will cost you everything!

Your future self is beckoning you to spend time in prayer, bible study, self development, career development and in becoming all that God wants of you.

It will definitely get uneasy at some points, but in the end you will realize it was worth it.

But never sacrifice your future on the altar of temporary pleasures and in a bid to please People also.
